Access Your Facebook Account with 3 Passwords

Access Facebook with 3 PasswordsDid you know that you can login to your Facebook account using 3 different passwords? Seems interesting isn’t it? Yep! Unlike any other online account which has only one password to access, Facebook lets you log in using 3 different variants of your password.
Only a few Facebook users are aware of this fact, but for many others, this might seem a bit surprising. Facebook accepts the following forms of your password:

1. Your Original Password

Let me explain this to you with the following example. Assume that your default Facebook password that you created during the sign-up process is:
Facebook-Password-1

2. Password with the Case Toggled

In the above password the letters ‘F’ and ‘P’ are in uppercase and the remaining are in the lowercase. If you TOGGLE the case where all the UPPERCASE characters are converted into the lowercase and vice versa, your default password “myFacebookPass” would become:
Facebook-Password-2
Now if you log in using the above toggled password, your Facebook will accept it and welcomes you! This is the first variation of your default password which is accepted by Facebook.

3. Password with the First Letter Capitalized

If the first character of your password is in the lowercase, you may just change that first letter to UPPERCASE and Facebook will again accept it and let you in. As in case of the above example where your default password is “myFacebookPass”, if you just change the first letter to UPPERCASE, your password would be “MyFacebookPass” and this should work fine as well:
Facebook-Password-3
Please note that this option will work only for the Mobile uers

A Virus Program to Disable USB Ports

In this post, I will show how to create a simple virus that disables/blocks the USB ports on the computer (PC). As usual, I am using my favorite C programming language to create this virus. Anyone with a basic knowledge of C language should be able to understand the working of this virus program.
Once this virus is executed it will immediately disable all the USB ports on the computer. As a result you’ll will not be able to use your pen drive or any other USB peripheral devices on the computer. The source code for this virus is available for download. You can test this virus on your own computer without any worries since I have also given a program to re-enable all the USB ports.

Download the USB_Block.rar file on to your computer
  1. It contains the following 2 files:
    • block_usb.c (source code)
    • unblock_usb.c (source code)
  2. You need to compile them before you can run it. A step-by-step procedure to compile C programs is given in my post -How to Compile C Programs.

    1. 3. Upon compilation of block_usb.c you get block_usb.exe which is a simple virus that will block (disable) all the USB ports on the computer upon execution (double click).
    2. To test this virus, just run the block_usb.exe file and insert a USB pen drive (thumb drive). Now you can see that your pen drive will never get detected. To re-enable the USB ports just run the unblock_usb.exe  (you need to compile unblock_usb.c) file. Now insert the pen drive and it should get detected.
    3. You can also change the icon of this file to make it look like a legitimate program. For more details on this refer my post – How to Change the ICON of an EXE file (This step is also optional).

    How it Works?

The idea behind the working of this virus is pretty straightforward. It works by gaining access to the Windows registry and modifying it’s settings to disable the USB device support on the computer.
On the other hand, the other program will re-set the registry settings back to the normal so that the support for USB devices is re-enabled. I hope you like this post. Please pass your comments.

Hack BSNL Broadband For Speed

If you are a BSNL broadband user, chances are that you are facing frequent DNS issues. Their DNS servers are just unresponsive. The look up takes a long duration and many times just time out. The solution? There is small hack on BSNL for this. Use third party DNS servers instead of BSNL DNS servers or run your own one like djbdns. The easiest options is to use OpenDNS. Just reconfigure your network to use the following DNS servers:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

Detailed instructions specific to operating system or your BSNL modem are available in the OpenDNS website itself. After I reconfigured my BSNL modem to use the above 2 IP addresses, my DNS problems just vanished! Other ‘freebies’ that come with OpenDNS are phishing filters and automatic URL correction. Even if your service provider’s DNS servers are working fine, you can still use OpenDNS just for these two special features. After you hack BSNL DNS servers, you will see a noticeable improvement in your broadband speed.

How To Copy Locked Photos From Orkut

Recently Orkut updated it’s security feature and disabled Right-click on photos of friend’s album. So this makes it difficult to copy photos from Orkut. It’s a new security update made by Orkut to prevent people from copying photos from Orkut and misusing it. This may be annoying most of you! Then…

How To Copy Locked Photos From Orkut?
Yes it’s still possible to copy the photos from Orkut. Here’s a step-by-step procedure to copy the photo.
1. Login into your Orkut Account.
2. Goto your friend’s album and open the photo that you need to copy.
3. Once the photo is loaded to it’s full size just place the mouse cursor on the photo.
4. Press the left click button and drag and drop the photo onto the ADDRESS BAR. I think this trick is no longer working. So I have a new trick….
Just DRAG and DROP the PHOTO onto the current/new TAB (If you have IE 7). Alternatively you can also Drag and Drop the photo onto the Desktop. That’s it. This trick is working now!!
4. Now the photo gets displayed seperately on your browser.
5. You can Right-Click and select the Save As option to save the photo onto your PC.
The browser also displays the direct link to the photo. This link can be used to share the Orkut photos with your friends without the need to login to your Orkut account to access photos.
Please express your opinions through comments. Cheer Up..
Happy Orkut Hacking.

How to Install Windows 7 From a USB Drive

Installing Windows from a USB flash drive has several advantages – First of all, the overall speed of the installation process will increase significantly, carrying a USB stick is much more convenient than a DVD, and finally it becomes possible to install the OS even on those systems that do not have a DVD drive, such as a netbook.
In this post, I will show you how to load the Windows installation on to your USB flash drive and make it bootable just like the DVD.

Tools Required:

  1. USB flash drive with a minimum capacity of 4 GB.
  2. Windows 7 set-up DVD.
Now, just follow the below steps:

Step-1:

Plug-in your USB flash drive and backup all the existing data in it.
Open the command prompt. If you are using Windows 7/Vista then open it with administrator rights.
ie: Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right-click on “Command Prompt” and select “Run as Administrator”.

Step-2:

In the command prompt, type in the following command:
This will start the Microsoft DiskPart utility as shown below:

Step-3:

Now issue the following command:
This will show you a list of  available disks on your system. Disk 0 is usually the hard disk. In my case, Disk 5 is the USB drive (this can be a different one in your case). Now issue the command as shown below:

NOTE: In the above command, 5 is the USB drive number on my system. If you have a different number on your system, then you need to replace 5 with that number

Step-4:

Now issue the following list of commands one by one as shown below:
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION 1
ACTIVE
FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK
ASSIGN
EXIT

Minimize the command prompt and proceed to the next step.

Step 5:

Insert the Windows 7/Vista installation disc and note down the “drive letter” of your DVD drive. In my case, it is “H:”. Now type the following list of commands as shown below:
H: CD BOOT
CD BOOT
BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 M: (NOTE: M: is your USB drive letter)
EXIT

Step-6:

Copy the contents of your Windows 7/Vista installation disk into the USB flash drive.
That’s it! Your USB stick is now ready to boot and install the OS for you. Don’t forget to enable the “USB Boot” option and change the “boot priority to USB device from hard disk” in your BIOS settings.
I hope you like this post. Pass your comments to express your opinion. :)

How To Retrive Clipboard history in windows

Ever copied a code snippet or text from the web and forgot to paste it before you copied something else? Well, all of us will have an experience of something like this, where we want to desperately retrieve those information that was once copied to the clipboard. But since Windows clipboard will only remember the last item that was copied onto it, it would seem impossible to recover the information that was copied earlier. However, this problem can be solved using an alternative clipboard manager in place of the default one.
In this post you will find a few such alternative clipboard managers for Windows using which it would be possible to save and retrieve every piece of information that was copied to the clipboard. Here’s a quick list:

1. Clipdiary

This tool is a powerful clipboard manager which will store every piece of information that was copied to the clipboard including text, images or any other file. Clipdiary automatically loads upon Windows startup and maintains a database to store the history of all copied items.
This makes it possible to retrieve the information that was once copied to the clipboard, be it the last hour or the last week. Clipdiary is a shareware tool which comes with a 30 day fully functional evaluation period.

2. ClipMagic

ClipMagic is similar to Clipdiary but includes a few extra features that could seem handy for advanced users. The following are some of the extra features of ClipMagic that are not present in Clipdiary:
  • Categorize/organize your clips. You can also create filters/rules for your incoming clips
  • You can store/categorize your ideas to research fast
  • Assign often used text like email signatures to hotkeys

3. Ditto

Ditto is a powerful alternative to the default Windows clipboard manager which is an open source tool. It keeps track of all the copied items such as text, images and other files so that you can retrieve them whenever necessary. The following are some of the highlights of Ditto:
  • Assign hotkeys to frequently used clippings
  • Search and organize the clippings based on task or project
  • Supports unicode so that you can copy foreign and non-standard characters without any issues
  • Get a preview of all the copied items including thumbnails of images just by pressing the assigned hotkey
  • Ditto comes as a freeware so that you can enjoy all of it’s features free of cost
Even though Ditto is a freeware, it is still comparable to the two shareware tools discussed earlier. So in my opinion Ditto is always the first choice. You may still download and try all the three and keep the one that you like!

DELETE AUTORUN.INF VIRUS BY WINRAR

This problem is common one that occurs in every one PC. In the previous month one of my friend was suffering by this thing. So I decide to write an article to all my readers on how to save yourself from this virus.

How This Virus Work:: This virus corrupted almost all drives from on your hard disk. And when you double click on any drive it opened in new windows. In some cases, when your drive is infected with this Autorun.inf virus, you won’t be able to access the drive completely. You have to browse the drive by exploring it i.e; Ctrl+E keys from the keyboard.

Now here is the various steps that you have to follow to get rid from this problem::

Step 1: First you have to disable CD/DVDS or USB Autorun in windows.

Step 2: Open Winrar.exe  (Start–>All Programs–>WinRar–>WinRar.exe)

Step 3: Now Browse to any drive that is infected with Autorun.inf virus using winrar explorer.

Step4: Here you will see all the hidden files under winrar for that particular drive.

Step 5: Look for the file Autorun.inf and open it using notepad.

Step 6: In that Autorun file, some .EXE file will be mentioned that will be executed along with the autorun file. This exe file is the main culprit.

Step 7: Note the .exe file mentioned in the Autorun.inf file. Close this Autorun.inf file.

Step 8: Now look for that .Exe file in the drive (Ex: c:/), Delete that .exe file along with Autorun.inf

Step 9: Restart your operating system. Now your system is free with Autorun.inf Virus.

Note: Repeat the same process if your USB or Pendrives are infected with Autorun.inf virus.
